15 September 2008 Lisichansk Refinery  will be shut down for planned overhaul, which will last one and half months. During this time detailed inspection of all technological units will be done and replacement of physically worn out.

Upon the results of 2007 group of companies ТNК-ВР in Ukraine transferred to budgets of all levels over 3,6 B UAH of taxes and charges, thus exceeding 2006 indicators by 10%. Also last year holding has increased excise duty payment by 41,5% and practically doubled payments to pension fund. 

TNK-BP announced that the company had purchased the first two gasoline tank trucks of new generation to provide more flexible logistics of fuel supplies to its customers in Ukraine. The company plans to form a fleet of modern gasoline tank trucks equipped with environment-friendly technical characteristics which are unique for the Ukrainian market. In 2007, investment in the project will amount to $1.7 mln.

«In the result of the prompt and professions actions of the CJSC LINIK personnel we managed to avoid any damage to the equipment, emissions into the atmosphere, leakage of the oil products, and other negative consequences, and all units have been successfully switched to the secure state. There are no casualties among the refinery employees», — Sergey Lizunov, LLC TNK-ВР Ukraine President, has informed.

TNK-ВР announced that the company had commissioned a modern complex for the biochemical waste water treatment (BHO-2) at the Lisichansk refinery after investing over $10 million into the project which took a year and a half to complete.

The Lisichansk Oil Refinery (JSC "LINIK'', Lisichansk, Lugansk Oblast) partially launches production of diesel fuel with sulfur contents 50 ppm which fully complies with Euro-4 standard in terms of quality features. The share of such fuel in the total amount of diesel production will make about 30%.

First TNK jobber in new corporate style was opened in Lugansk: the traditional blue and white colors were expanded with orange dots. The fuel station was opened after signing the new sublicense agreement between TNK-BP and LLC “Eastern Resources”.

Lisichansk Oil Refinery became the first enterprise in the region and in the Ukrainian oil processing industry which got certified in three international standards: quality management system, health, safety and environment.

TNK-BPUkraineannounced that December 15^th ZAO Linik held a meeting of the employees which discussed the results of the compliance check of the labour legislation at the refinery. The compliance check was carried out by the territorial state labour inspection of the Lugansk region at the request of the refinery management.

In 2006 LLC "TNK-BP Ukraine" made a charitable contribution to Lugansk boarding school for deaf children for the total of UAH 650 000.

The oil refinery is completing the scheduled capital repair.

In the next five years the Holding will invest in LINIK about $300 mln

Increasing of Russian export duties for oil will not influence the price formation inside the country.
