TNK-ÂÐ increased payments to Ukrainian budget

Upon the results of 2007 group of companies ÒNÊ-ÂÐ in Ukraine transferred to budgets of all levels over 3,6 B UAH of taxes and charges, thus exceeding 2006 indicators by 10%. Also last year holding has increased excise duty payment by 41,5% and practically doubled payments to pension fund. 

«Company is fully responsible to state as far as its obligations are concerned, it looks after compliance with tax discipline and increments payments to budget, – stated Sergey Lizunov President of ÒNÊ-ÂÐ Commerce LLC – TNK-BP group charges in Ukraine cover around 14,5% of Lugansk oblast budget and over 26% of Lisichansk budget».

Meanwhile according to top-managers, due to problems with VAT reimbursement company investment plans fulfillment related to Lisichansk Refinery modernization and marketing infrastructure development slowed down.

«As of 1 January 2008 in the frame of VAT reimbursement obligations, company under-received 335 MM UAH from the state, – stated Sergey Lizunov. – Needless to say, this has extremely negative reflection on the economics of oil refining enterprise, operating with minimal breakeven under rigid competition conditions with external manufacturers».
