Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has wrongly penalized CJSC LINIK
On November the 27th, 2008 the Economic Court of the city of Kyiv passed the judgment, by which it acknowledged as illegitimate the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine’s imposition of the penalty in the amount of 500 thousand hryvnya on the CJSC LINIK for, allegedly, the violation of the competition legislation in November — December 2007.
Representatives of the CJSC LINIK are satisfied by the decision of the court instance and intend to continue using all possibilities, stipulated by the legislation of Ukraine and international normative and legal acts, to defend their rights and interests, protected by the law.
The Company would like to notice that it has not commented the legal proceedings at the mass media on principle, to exclude any possibility, even a theoretical one, to be accused of an attempt of any pressure over the Court.
We would also like to ask other participants of the proceedings to stick to a correct and appropriate way of behavior, and not to give subjective evaluation judgments on the pages of the mass media before the final decision on the case. Otherwise we reserve the right for an adequate public evaluation of such actions.
