Lisichansk Oil Refinery has started commissioning works after repairs
The Lisichansk oil refinery (the CJSC “LINIK”, Lugansk oblast’), being under control of the international vertically integrated TNK-BP Holding, has started the commissioning works after the scheduled capital repairs, which had lasted for one and a half month. “The oil refinery intends to achieve the normal operation regime approximately on November the 8th», — LLC “TNK-BP Commerce”, performing the function of the TNK-BP corporate management center in Ukraine, has informed. The Company has also noted that, in the course of the repairs, it had carried out the replacement and diagnostication of equipment and reconstructed technological pipelines. Before 2004 the Lisichansk Oil Refinery had been stopped for repairs twice a year, but, after the implementation of the TNK-BP’s development program for the enterprise, starting from 2004, the refinery switched over to the yearly working cycle, and starting from 2006 — to the two-year overhaul period. In general, the Company has invested more than $ 350 million into the oil refinery since 2000.
